Kurt Kroeker (violin) has performed solo and orchestral music for more than 20 years and is a former violin student of Dr. James Lyon of Penn State University. He has played in the first and second violin sections of the Pennsylvania Chamber Orchestra as well as numerous other classical music ensembles. Kurt enjoys exploring and performing music from many genres and cultures including bluegrass, mariachi, and Scottish and Irish dance music. When not appearing onstage, Kurt develops software for Minitab LLC. He lives with his wife, Lydia, and their four children in State College.
